About the Role

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. This position is responsible for product management and leadership in discrete Internet of Things (IoT) and related technologies: IoT, AI, AT&T, Product Management, and the Enterprise, Public, and SMB business customer arena. The role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, defining and documenting requirements, conducting market research, developing product roadmaps, and collaborating with stakeholders and UX teams to ensure high-quality product delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life, ensuring seamless transitions and ongoing product performance.
  • Manage budgets, acquire estimates, and handle requests for funding through the capital process.
  • Coordinate with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as products move to production and distribution.
  • Translate and document customer and technical requirements into final product designs, prepare and present comprehensive business cases, and provide detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze customer needs and identify priorities for new products, services, or enhancements.
  • Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, revenue potential, customer segments, and opportunities for new products or features.
  • Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans.
  • Partner with business, technology, UX teams, and third-party technology partners to design or modify products, ensuring a high-quality user experience and alignment with budget and schedule specifications.
  • Work with various teams to develop pricing strategies and negotiate with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Experience in product management, IoT, AI, or related technologies.
  • Ability to lead significant projects with strategic autonomy and influence executive decisions.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative resolution skills for complex issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including UX, legal, marketing, and technology development.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools and methodologies.
