This role involves serving as the Product Technology Lead for AT&T's personalization tools, with a focus on integrating AI and Generative AI solutions into the omnichannel ecosystem. The position emphasizes driving MarTech development and delivering AI-powered personalization capabilities to enable hyper-personalized customer experiences at scale, working closely with Marketing, Technology, and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full product lifecycle of personalization tools enhanced by AI and Gen AI technologies, defining vision and roadmap that incorporate AI-driven personalization, automation, and predictive analytics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to clearly communicate functionality, integration points, and performance expectations to engineering and data science teams.
  • Collaborate with AI and data science teams to embed advanced machine learning models and generative AI capabilities into personalization platforms, driving use cases such as dynamic content generation, predictive offer decisioning, and real-time customer interaction optimization.
  • Act as a key liaison between Technology, AI/Data Science, and Marketing teams, leading agile development processes, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring alignment on AI personalization initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging AI/Gen AI technologies, tools, and industry trends; evaluate and recommend new AI capabilities to maintain competitive advantage in personalization.
  • Address ethical considerations, data privacy, and compliance issues related to AI-driven personalization; ensure solutions adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of product ownership or management experience focused on personalization, marketing technology, or AI-powered platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI and generative AI technologies applied to marketing personalization, including familiarity with machine learning frameworks and natural language generation.
  • Proven ability to document technical product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex technology solutions.
  • Strong collaboration experience with engineering, AI/Data Science, and marketing teams.
  • Proficiency with Best in Class Marketing Technology Platforms (e.g., Adobe CDP, Target, Pega, Journey Orchestration).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience managing complex projects in agile environments.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, ethical AI practices, and regulatory compliance related to customer data.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of web/digital personalization.
  • Familiarity with emerging digital trends and technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, AR/VR).
  • Creative thinker who proactively identifies and solves problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of product management experience in personalization, marketing technology, or AI platforms.
