Lead Project Manager (Recovery Modernization Project)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Works with business leaders to define project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition supporting multiple stakeholders.
• Drives successful implementation of system conversions by overseeing all workstreams and collaborating with business leaders, technology project managers, workstream leads, and stakeholders.
• Coordinates multi-year system conversions and projects, ensuring no material negative impacts on clients or teammates, and tracks migration status and impacts.
• Develops integrated project plans, manages dependencies and critical paths, tracks and reports project checkpoints and status, and addresses potential impacts on external client experience.
• Understands various project delivery methodologies such as waterfall and agile, and coordinates with all types of projects.
• Partners with project sponsors and business leaders on project updates and executive presentations, and leads communication and change management planning when necessary.
• Identifies, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues and conflicts, performs impact analysis, manages dependencies, and escalates risks with corrective actions.
• Assists in business case development, performs project initiation activities, and manages project checkpoints to ensure delivery and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensures appropriate resources are engaged throughout the project, including gathering estimates, tracking utilization, assessing staffing needs, and managing vendor performance.
• Manages overall project financials, including forecasting and budgeting, and facilitates budgetary requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Minimum of five (5) years project management experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience leading complex, large-scale enterprise system conversions.
• Solid foundation in project management concepts, principles, and practices including change management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including fostering innovation and leading through change.

Nice to Have

• Experience in lending, payment, or other banking operations.

Benefits & Perks

• Eligible for a base salary in the range of $80,000 to $130,000 annually depending on experience.
• Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation based on performance.
