Lead Project Manager, Technology - Remote

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale IT projects (software, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.)
• Develop project scopes, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project delivery
• Coordinate geographically dispersed project teams for data integrations, system consolidations, software development, business onboarding projects and other tasks
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage changes, and resolve issues
• Recommend IT strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes; identify problems, assess trends and anticipate requirements
• Forecast requirements to accomplish financial objectives; prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures and research variances
• Foster collaboration across departments and manage stakeholder communication
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 5 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead capacity
• Experience with testing the quality of data produced by project teams, researching data and effectively explaining results to business analysts
• Extensive breadth of experience delivering complex projects within budget and scope
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience as an IT project manager
• PMP, CSM, NRF Retail or Supply Chain certifications
• Ability to work independently, solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment
• Solid business acumen and understanding of business drivers and issues surrounding a project
• Superior interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; solid risk management skills
• Ability to negotiate and build consensus with various groups
