About the Role

The Lead Technology Program Manager at Lowe's Home Improvement will oversee strategic technology initiatives across the enterprise in an agile, product environment. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams, influencing leadership, and supporting complex initiatives to shape the future of retail technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Corporate Communications, Marketing, Digital Business, Legal, and IR to plan and execute Go To Market communications strategies, ensuring messaging alignment for internal and external audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships as the primary liaison to executive/senior leaders, technology sponsors, customers, vendors, and other key stakeholders for strategic and functional initiatives requiring alignment and coordination.
  • Coordinate logistics and content for conferences, leadership updates, and internal events to highlight technology-driven initiatives and share success stories.
  • Support the socialization of wins and drive awareness of technology portfolio progress through storytelling, newsletters, town halls, and digital channels.
  • Act as a communications bridge across teams, ensuring program outcomes are clearly articulated and understood across diverse stakeholder groups, reinforcing transparency, alignment, and enterprise adoption.
  • Influence and drive the prioritization and alignment of strategic and functional imperatives, deliverables, and decisions necessary for optimal delivery in an agile, product environment.
  • Communicate and document initiative risks, impediments, decisions, and scope changes critical for Go To Market planning.
  • Monitor technology trends and influence leaders and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT or a technology-focused business area.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience leading and influencing technology portfolio, program, or product teams, including providing direction, coaching, and mentoring.
  • At least 3 years experience supporting complex initiatives in a product and/or agile operating model, using tools like JIRA for work transparency and tracking.
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions and deliverables.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership cross-functionally in a large organization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using formal business process improvement methodologies.
  • Corporate retail experience.
  • PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-CACP).
  • Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP).
  • Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC).
  • Other portfolio management certifications (e.g., SAFe LPM, ICP-LPM, CSM, RTE, PMP).
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 3-5 years supporting complex initiatives using scaled agile environments.
