About the Role

The LinkedIn Strategist (Remote US) role is part of the new Abe Agency within Directive, a specialized consultancy focused on social media advertising for B2B clients. The position involves building innovative LinkedIn strategies to help clients reach, engage, and convert their target audiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing, future-focused agency that values the best idea and a growth mindset. The strategist will work directly with mid-market and enterprise clients, supporting the launch and expansion of social media marketing efforts, primarily through LinkedIn advertising, and will be part of a team that emphasizes customer generation and results-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts.
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements.
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI.
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
  • Manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts.
  • Meet and exceed department KPIs such as client growth and goal attainment.
  • Build client trust and relationships that create consistent renewals.
  • Communicate results clearly with client points of contact and executives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency, preferably with B2B.
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
  • Understanding of different Ad Units within LinkedIn Platform such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more.
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to translate strategy into data stories and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Bonus for B2B experience.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Experience with OCT (Optimization, Conversion, Testing) measurement.

Qualifications

  • Established work authorization in the US or other relevant countries if applicable.
  • Ability to operate a laptop and necessary office tools.
  • Professional background suitable for remote work.
