About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Director of Paid Social to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across Gen Digital's brand portfolio. This role is critical to driving customer acquisition, engagement, and growth across global markets, leveraging our strength in cybersecurity and identity protection. The leader will scale performance, harness AI and automation to improve speed and efficiency, and build a high-performing team that tests boldly and finds new growth opportunities through data and AI-driven workflows. This is a senior leadership role requiring confidence, credibility, and a culture of curiosity and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement innovative paid social strategies that maximize business growth while leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate speed to market.
  • Identify and deploy AI-powered solutions for campaign build, asset production, targeting, bidding, and real-time optimization.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that champions experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Own performance KPIs for paid social channels, analyzing campaign data to identify trends, optimize ROI, and scale winning tactics.
  • Implement rigorous testing plans and A/B frameworks to drive creative and audience innovation.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar paid social budgets across brands and markets.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of spend to deliver efficiency, scalability, and growth.
  • Partner with brand marketing, creative, analytics, and global market teams to ensure alignment on messaging, creative execution, and audience strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with deep expertise in paid social and a track record of delivering measurable growth at scale.
  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role driving global paid social strategy for large-scale, multi-brand organizations.
  • Experience managing performance-driven paid social budgets of $20M+, with strong ROI across global markets.
  • Demonstrated success translating social performance wins into broader marketing channel strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation to streamline processes, boost productivity, and enhance campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated success managing international paid campaigns and adapting to local market nuances.
  • Strong strategic thinker with an experimental mindset and deep understanding of social algorithms, platform best practices, and performance marketing principles.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends, AI-driven marketing, and creative experimentation.
