About the Role

The Manager of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve payment processing, implementing cost of acceptance reduction strategies, and facilitating dynamic debit card transaction routing. The role involves managing data pipelines and driving analytics to support THD's payments acceptance strategy across the US, HD.com, Canada, and Mexico, including all THD affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

Developing a reporting suite of KPI tracking, forecasts, and alerts to help manage the business; partner with IT and the business to resolve any issues that arise with customer payment acceptance and fraud.
Partnering with IT to maintain existing data feeds and ingest new data as needed.
Ensuring accuracy of THD's payment processing costs and network fees, identifying trends, and resolving discrepancies with the payment processors and card brands.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to accurately track, report, and manage payment acceptance costs across the entire payments ecosystem.
Leading and mentoring a team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and Machine Learning tools.
Understanding of technical architecture concepts.
Strong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-end.
Experience with project management tools.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, collaborative, and professional attitude.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at various levels.
Experience in payments or payment processing is a plus.
