About the Role

The Manager of Digital Marketing Strategy will lead a team of digital marketers dedicated to collaborating cross-functionally to build integrated frameworks across existing and new digital and offline programs. This role supports the AWS Global Campaigns team in generating awareness and demand by managing and executing programs that accelerate lead generation and customer lifecycle progression. The position involves creating go-to-market strategies, testing and monitoring campaign impact, owning channel performance, and driving digital innovation to support growth objectives. The role is based in Seattle, WA, with relocation offered within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages a team of digital marketers, setting the functional strategy and core development of the team
  • Manages and executes key strategic, cross-functional, operational initiatives across core business priorities
  • Liaises with Digital Marketing Stakeholders across strategic initiatives including website migrations, site merchandising process optimizations, global lead scoring, digital compliance, Thought Leadership, EBR process, and digital integration with other AWS Marketing teams
  • Leads the coordination of digital agency integration with Product and Solution Campaigns
  • Drives A/B, multivariate, and incrementality testing to arrive at data-driven conclusions for campaign frameworks
  • Develops and implements targeting and segmentation best practices for AWS Marketing
  • Develops and executes test plans across all channels
  • Establishes and maintains scalable processes for paid and owned channel activation
  • Drives efficiencies and scale in designing customer lifecycle experiences
  • Supports operational initiatives for localization processes for global deployments
  • Collaborates with internal managers, in-region Field teams, external agencies, PMM, and other stakeholders to create optimal customer experiences
  • Communicates results to senior leadership and uses data to measure impact and identify improvements

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • 3+ years of marketing automation experience
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns and operational planning
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically, with strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure impact and improve campaigns
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS or B2B marketing
  • Knowledge of global digital campaign deployment and localization processes
  • Experience with web analytics and digital measurement tools
