About the Role

The Manager, Marketing Operations and Analytics at Informa TechTarget is responsible for overseeing reporting and analytics, managing complex projects within the Corporate Marketing team, and owning third-party vendor relationships. The role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and sales operations to implement scalable strategies that deliver measurable results across multiple brands. The position supports initiatives such as marketing automation platform migration and requires an independent, strategic approach within a dynamic, global organization committed to sustainability, diversity, and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the project roadmap for the Marketing Operations team.
  • Provide quality assurance on outgoing deliverables.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee and optimize operational processes to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead and maintain the Marketo platform, ensuring seamless integration with other marketing and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Develop and optimize marketing campaign processes to increase scale, drive efficiency, and improve conversions using data-driven insights and integrated tech-stack.
  • Provide ad-hoc support related to diagnostics, troubleshooting, or enhancement of marketing programs.
  • Identify opportunities for team growth and development.
  • Mentor team members on marketing automation best practices, Marketo usage, and database quality control.
  • Generate regular reports on marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop knowledge of core product offerings, audience targeting, marketing tactics, and client base.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of marketing operations and project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Marketo, Salesforce, and Zapier.
  • Familiarity with Drift, LeanData, WordPress, and Tableau.
  • Likely to have a B.S/B.A. in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Expertise in marketing operations and automation with strategic proficiency.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to partner effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy regulations.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and capable of leading through uncertainty.
  • Ability to influence without authority.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and migration projects.
  • Knowledge of additional tools such as LeanData, WordPress, Tableau.
  • Experience working in a fast-growth, B2B technology environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
