About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interacting with Executives, Operations Personnel, and Stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into end-to-end data solutions.
• Collaborating with non-data stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop business reporting products.
• Building and maintaining data models in Looker, developing insightful reports, and leveraging Google Looker to provide valuable data insights.
• Becoming a subject matter expert with Google Looker as both a development platform and visualization tool.
• Maintaining security and data access models within Looker.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the Looker instance.
• Providing guidance and support to end-users on how to effectively use Looker and Looker Studio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and functions.
• Six or more years of experience working within data and analytics.
• Experience with database technologies, working with large data sets.
• Ideally some exposure to Google Looker for presenting solutions and KPIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work with complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
