Manager, Procurement - Promotional Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process for each assigned project item, including development, procurement, and project management.
• Ensure all Promotional Development dates and milestones within the Creative Calendar & documented Creative Request Process are met from initiation to completion, including system item setup, quoting, cost efficiencies, PO assignment/creation, and warehouse delivery.
• Manage project timelines to ensure marketing elements are delivered on time and within budget expectations.
• Negotiate costs with vendors and summarize key cost estimates for comparison and approval.
• Partner with brand creative and design teams to address issues and provide alternatives to reduce costs and improve functionality.
• Oversee vendors in generating concepts and samples for promotional programming.
• Trend hunt, conduct competitive shopping, and seek new ideas/concepts based on consumer landscape changes.
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders for locally sourced items; coordinate with Operations teams, distribution centers, and vendors to resolve compliance issues.
• Support and lead category management initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Attend meetings, provide updates, highlight risks/delays, and support collaboration with Operations, Creative, and Brand teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in POSM development and procurement with strong technical category knowledge.
• Experience in prestige beauty across multiple channels including department stores, open sell, and boutiques.
• Procurement and negotiation skills.
• Highly driven, energetic, proactive, and able to take initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (written, oral, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in PC/Office/MAC applications, Excel, PowerPoint, and JDE.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with vendor negotiations and cost management.
• Familiarity with consumer landscape trends and innovative promotional concepts.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
