About the Role

As a Product Marketing Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a key role in planning and executing the product marketing strategy for the Data Security products within our Prisma SASE portfolio. You will work closely with marketing, product management, industry analysts, sales, customers, and technology partners to understand target audiences, security issues, and the competitive landscape. Your efforts will help define our value proposition, drive messaging, content creation, thought leadership, sales enablement, and competitive analysis, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a leader in Secure Service Edge and SASE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish the unique value proposition and messaging for your product line, with a clear understanding of the target markets and buyer personas.
  • Author compelling, high-quality content, both at a business and a technical level, in a variety of formats including print, web, social media, and video.
  • Launch products and collaborate with field teams to execute marketing campaigns to deliver on awareness and pipeline targets.
  • Enable the sales and channel teams to understand, present, and become subject matter experts in Data Security.
  • Work at building and executing plans that cross different functional groups, including product management, go-to-market, sales, and analyst relations.
  • Represent the company in customer engagements and at events to evangelize our point of view and be recognized as an industry expert.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in cybersecurity, ideally in Data Security, SASE, or overall network security technologies.
  • 2+ years of product marketing experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker able to develop and deliver engaging presentations in various environments, from large internal teams to industry conferences and customer briefings.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or with network security technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent military experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with industry analysts and customer engagement.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns for cybersecurity products.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Equivalent military experience considered.

Benefits & Perks

  • The starting base salary is expected to be between $131,000 and $212,500 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location.
  • Potential inclusion of restricted stock units and a bonus.
