About the Role

Nestlé USA is seeking a digitally savvy Shopper Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution for NUSA brands for Walmart and Sam's Club. The role supports and partners with the Sales, Marketing, and Brand teams to drive category growth and conversion, focusing on creating meaningful omnichannel shopping experiences. The position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Shopper Marketing Strategy and Execution for Walmart and Sam's Club, identifying core shopper insights, setting objectives, and developing & executing omni-channel plans to meet or exceed KPIs across the shopper journey.
  • Manage agencies and vendors, including briefing, strategy and creative evaluation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop shopper programming with an omnichannel approach (Paid Search, Digital Media, POS, etc), partnering with Retail Media Network, creative and media agencies, and internal stakeholders to maximize investment.
  • Own relationships with Walmart Connect and MAP to drive performance accountability and stay updated on evolving capabilities.
  • Create compelling selling tools and presentations to support Sales in securing retailer support for distribution and promotions.
  • Steer strategic internal annual planning through Joint Business Planning, liaising with customer teams to align customer plans with NUSA priorities.
  • Share program measurement, evaluation, and analysis, demonstrating the ability to optimize future programs and adopt a test & learn mentality.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team, Sales Category, Division brand team, and strategists to build, optimize, and execute Shopper Marketing plans for Walmart and Sam's Club.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the organization and with the retailer, including delivering presentations for buy-in and results, such as Annual Planning, Retailer reviews, and Investment requests.
  • Manage the shopper marketing budget effectively, including both working and non-working dollars.
  • Support digital shelf execution with agency partners and the digital shelf team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of CPG brand/marketing/sales and/or Shopper Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of traditional CPG Shopper marketing role preferred.
  • Agency management experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced analytics, digital/e-commerce, and omni-commerce knowledge.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing, leveraging shopper insights for activation and communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Thrives in change and is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Nice to Have

  • WMC / MAP experience.
  • Proficiency with Walmart Ads Portal and Scintilla.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree.
