The Manager of Web & Digital Marketing Technology is a leadership role responsible for driving the strategy and operational management of the firm's digital marketing technologies, including website and email platforms, to support business development and marketing efforts in a competitive legal landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as manager of Foley's online website presence from a technology perspective, managing vendors and technology behind the firm's public-facing websites, primarily using Wordpress and other technologies.
  • Work closely with content teams and others throughout the firm to create and update relevant digital KPIs, ensuring content remains fresh and optimized for SEO and site visitors.
  • Manage functionality, data, reporting, and enhancements to the firm's email marketing system.
  • Oversee cross-platform data integration (e.g., email, events, CRM) to support firm goals and strengthen client and prospect relationships.
  • Stay informed on industry and technology trends, and help identify future initiatives through updates to the Marketing Technology roadmaps.
  • Use web, email, and analytics tools to establish, monitor, and report on key metrics measuring the effectiveness of web properties and marketing initiatives.
  • Understand marketing technology platforms, assist with maintenance, enhancements, and user support.
  • Oversee efforts to improve search engine optimization (SEO), including creating, executing, and reporting on strategic data and results across platforms and AI search tools.
  • Collaborate with the BD&M department, I.T., and others to ensure proper data integration across tools such as Passle, Dynamics CRM, email marketing, Wordpress, and others.
  • Manage a direct report supporting the above responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience with marketing technologies geared toward generating revenue.
  • Demonstrated experience developing process and business strategy with other leaders to maximize the value of technologies and systems.
  • Proven ability to inspire others toward common goals around the use of technology to drive revenue.
  • Experience managing technology projects from problem identification through post go-live review.
  • Experience establishing metrics and KPIs to measure revenue impact and ROI of technology.
