About the Role

Superior Services, a Smart Care Company, has an immediate open for a Manufacturing Project Coordinator. Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment. Our offering of comprehensive mechanical services includes hot side cooking equipment, stand-alone refrigeration, specialty coffee and beverage, complex rack refrigeration and HVAC. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects identified by OEM, including equipment updates, large number of installs, and customer-specific upgrades.
  • Support internal Superior Service projects that benefit OEM relationships, including process improvement, communication, and technology enhancement.
  • Admin oversight of maintenance activities such as vehicle stocking, working with market teams to assign technicians, and ensuring stocking levels on vehicles.
  • Portal management tasks including updating notes and forms, adding OEMs to the portal, and updating labor rates.
  • OEM system setup in SAP, ensuring forms and manuals are logged for technician access, and managing OEM tech bulletins.
  • Create, maintain, and update reports on OEM first-time fix rates, return-to-service times, parts usage, and project profitability.
  • Address challenges and implement process improvements related to internal processes, communication, and program/project workflows.
  • Build and maintain relationships with OEM team members to improve collaborative processes.
  • Track program activities such as technician assignments, billing status, form submissions, and service event statuses.
  • Collaborate with OEM Warranty Team and OEM Warranty Billing Team.
  • Assist with OEM checklists, create and track OEM warranty calls to completion, handle warranty service emails, communicate with call centers and field teams, and provide updates to OEMs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure successful partnership between SCES and OEM.

Requirements

  • Experience managing projects related to equipment updates, installs, and customer-specific upgrades.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams including OEM, warranty, and field technicians.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar systems for OEM setup and data management.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
  • Experience with process improvement and troubleshooting challenges.
  • Ability to create and maintain reports on project and operational metrics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the foodservice, refrigeration, or HVAC industries.
  • Knowledge of OEM processes and warranty procedures.
  • Familiarity with portal management and technical documentation.
