About the Role

The Marcomm Specialist (Temporary) at Yamaha Corporation of America is responsible for leading the communication of a product's customer value proposition to the market by effectively executing the defined go-to-market strategy. This role involves creating demand, ensuring brand consistency, and elevating Yamaha's brand equity through compelling messaging and marketing activities, in alignment with category strategies and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes marketing activities defined in GTM plans to create demand and preference for Yamaha products and services in alignment with category strategies and goals
  • Ensures creative marketing materials adhere to Yamaha's brand guidelines
  • Ensures that expenses for assigned product categories align with the marketing budget guidelines
  • Collaborates with internal functional teams to integrate key insights and journeys into marketing campaigns, briefs, content, etc.
  • Assists campaign and creative brief development for marketing initiatives and articulates strategy and feedback to agency teams
  • Collaborates with in-house advertising agency and other key partners to deliver marketing assets
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports on internal marketing initiative results
  • Communicates marketing activities, plan updates, and completions to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience executing cross-platform traditional, digital, and social marketing programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer data, behaviors, and feedback into marketing decisions
  • Knowledge of market and Yamaha's position in it, as well as prospective customer base
  • Ability to synthesize digital marketing campaign components across platforms
  • Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and manage tasks and resources
  • Ability to align marketing work with sales efforts

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with top consumer brands
  • Experience executing the production of print, digital, social, content marketing, trade shows, PR
  • Experience developing sales support tools for initiatives or product launches
  • Experience with creative development tools/software (Workfront, Wrike, Teamwork, Asana, etc.)
  • Experience working within a cross-functional, matrixed environment

Qualifications
