About the Role

The MarComm Strategist 4 - Strategic Sports Partnerships role involves developing and executing marketing plans to promote FMOL Health's strategic partnerships in the Baton Rouge market. The position focuses on enhancing visibility and engagement for key collaborations such as the Championship Health Partnership with LSU, Southern University, BRCC, Traction Sports Performance, and the Sports Medicine service line, as well as local high schools and athletics organizations. The role includes creating multimedia content, managing social media, coordinating community and internal events, and working cross-functionally with PR, advertising, and community engagement teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Occasional night and weekend work is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and delivering marketing plans involving FMOL Health's strategic partnerships in the Baton Rouge market.
  • Help manage external and internal efforts to promote and enhance the visibility of key collaborations.
  • Support marketing activation efforts such as athletic game day events, community events, and internal events.
  • Work cross-functionally with public relations efforts, advertising, community events, community education, and other marketing efforts.
  • Create multimedia content including videos, graphics, and photography that highlight strategic partnerships and community impact.
  • Develop and manage social media content calendars and posts related to partnership activities and events.
  • Manage internal and external communications to promote visibility and engagement.
  • Serve as a liaison between Our Lady of the Lake Health and partner organizations to ensure brand alignment and collaborative messaging.
  • Support marketing efforts for sports medicine and athletic partnerships, including high school outreach.
  • Collaborate with PR, advertising, and community engagement teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Track performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Oversee advertising and promotional production for internal and external product lines, evaluate advertising effectiveness, and appraise media suitability.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in Marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Advertising, or Marketing.
  • Strong writing, multimedia content creation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools for scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with sports organizations, higher education, or healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Journalism, Bachelor's degree in journalism.
