Market Analyst III - (B3)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Research product marketing trends and conduct complex benchmarking analysis of the company's markets, competition and product mix versus the competition (e.g. Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing).
• Owns collection and use of market sizing and segmentation data in the BU strategy and marketing process.
• Uses in-depth knowledge to contribute to diverse product road maps and conducts pricing/margin analysis.
• Provide complex product forecasts. Develop product financial plans including cost reductions, margin maintenance and return on investment goals.
• Assist the field teams with direct marketing of key products to key accounts.
• Collects and analyzes data for Red Team analysis and annual and quarterly Business reviews.
• Focuses on KPU growth by tracking and analyzing data.

Requirements

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Possesses hands-on expertise in advanced analytics tools, e.g., Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau.
• Has experience in developing communication packages for senior leadership using MS PowerPoint.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies.
