The Marketing team at Waymo builds thoughtful marketing strategies, delivers impactful messages through various channels, creates engaging campaigns across the user lifecycle, and runs in-depth analyses to generate actionable insights. The role involves helping to connect people with Waymo's autonomous driving technology and shaping go-to-market initiatives to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven audience strategies by synthesizing insights from multiple sources, analyzing rider behavior patterns, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign strategy implementation across the user lifecycle, from acquisition to retention, by designing, launching, and optimizing campaigns that drive long-term value.
  • Identify and execute optimization opportunities for Waymo's lifecycle campaigns and promotions through strategic analysis.
  • Measure and attribute the ROI of all lifecycle marketing programs, and use these insights to inform future budget allocation and promotional strategy.
  • Develop A/B and multivariate testing plans to optimize marketing initiatives, including defining hypotheses, identifying key metrics, and ensuring proper tracking.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a marketing analytics or growth marketing role with a proven track record of owning and driving strategic analysis to improve cross-channel campaigns.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests with a strong understanding of statistical significance and p-values.
  • Solid understanding of customer lifecycle marketing principles, experiment methodologies, and content creation strategies for different channels.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud for campaign setup and execution.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
