About the Role

The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica is seeking a Marketing & Content Specialist to design, develop, and execute marketing strategies that increase hotel bookings, guest loyalty, and revenue. The role involves creating visual assets, managing digital content, and collaborating across teams within a vibrant, modern luxury hotel environment located by the beach with amenities such as rooftop dining, a fitness center, and event spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and produce visual assets within Hotel brand guidelines for in-house collateral, printed materials, digital banners, newsletters, presentations, and online content.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, website, and events to generate bookings and increase revenue.
  • Create and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure marketing success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain the hotel and restaurant websites and online listings, ensuring they are optimized and provide a positive user experience.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are on-brand, accurate, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Lead management, outreach, promotion, and campaign development for social influencers, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including design, content creation, copywriting, and data analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in brand and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and techniques.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and executing social media campaigns.
  • Strong email design and content creation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro.
  • Fundamental understanding of HTML.
