Marketing & Product Officer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with management to establish marketing goals, targeted market share, and profitability of products and/or services for each business line.
• Develop and execute short-range and long-range marketing plans and programs to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of the Bank's products and/or services.
• Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize competitive risks.
• Conduct marketing and customer surveys to evaluate customer acceptance and satisfaction levels for current and proposed products/services.
• Identify and create potentially feasible new products to serve target markets and generate market share growth.
• Define opportunities, business cases, success criteria, business requirements, risks, and implementation plans for new products.
• Work with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and impacted departments to ensure adoption of new bank products and services.
• Evaluate market reactions to promotional programs and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities across traditional and digital media channels.
• Design promotional campaigns, update bank brochures, and manage outside agencies for promotional materials.
• Coordinate media contracts, ad buys, and track promotional activities, providing status reports to relevant committees.
• Develop and recommend pricing strategies to achieve market share, growth, and profitability goals.
• Ensure marketing materials and products comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in planning bank-wide employee events and functions.
• Manage and maintain content on the Bank's website, intranet, and social media platforms.
• Manage internal and external communications programs such as newsletters and press releases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• College degree required.
• Minimum of five years of direct work experience in development and marketing of banking products and services.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Well organized with excellent computer skills in both software and hardware applications.
• Ability to synthesize business information and think strategically and proactively.
• Resourceful with the ability to work quickly to solve problems and provide options.
• Ability to build partnerships and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage details and multi-task projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commercial bank.
