About the Role

The role of the Advertising Operations Specialist III involves helping to build and optimize the global media infrastructure, developing standards for media operations and governance, defining KPIs to support media goals, and ensuring the implementation and governance of media principles and standards. The position requires managing media team budgets, working with internal and external stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative media team culture. This is a remote position with a preferred location in NYC, offering a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension, and a pay range of $60-65/hr on W2 (DOE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and oversight of media tools and technology such as the Media Planning platform and ad platforms.
  • Ensure user access governance internally and externally across all tools and technology, ensuring access guidelines are adopted to meet organizational requirements.
  • Accurate and timely monitoring and control of media spend and budgets within internal systems such as finance tools.
  • Assist in handling media agency partnerships, including tracking budgets, fiscal responsibilities, billing, and invoice accuracy.
  • Assist the Global Media Operations Lead in implementing a training framework and curriculum to drive innovation and advancement in media operations and governance.
  • Help lead and improve the media team onboarding process and requirements for new hires.
  • Advocate for and foster a unified media team culture and global mindset in interactions with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Must be process-driven with a track record of designing, building, and implementing new processes and ways of working, including continuous process improvement.
  • Strong project management experience, including documentation of project plans, timelines, and KPI tracking.
  • Understanding of media disciplines, channels, nomenclature, tracking tools and systems, and regulatory guidelines.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a media agency or working with global and regional media agencies.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an operations role in marketing, media, agency/advertising, or related fields.
  • Experience in change management, demonstrating application of transition or change management processes in complex environments.
  • College degree in Marketing, Advertising, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.

  • Proven track record of building operational ways of working and influencing task completion.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Sourcing, and Marketing.
  • Good instincts to initiate and drive outcomes independently and collaboratively within complex organizations.
