About the Role

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a global education nonprofit dedicated to enabling young people to realize their full potential through computer science and digital technologies. The organization develops education programmes, learning experiences, and products that help millions of young people learn vital skills. In the US, it operates through Raspberry Pi Foundation North America, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, with a mission to increase awareness and engagement with educational products and learning experiences, especially among schools, youth, and community organizations. The role involves working across all US-focused products and programmes, collaborating with the global marketing team, and traveling across the US for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to grow awareness and engagement with the Raspberry Pi Foundation's educational programmes in the United States.
  • Plan, promote, and deliver events across the US, including educator training workshops, volunteer meetups, conference booths, and showcase events for young people.
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end: budgeting, venue selection, travel arrangements, vendor coordination, materials prep, and on-the-ground support.
  • Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation at key conferences, education summits, and community events to build visibility and foster partnerships.
  • Create or adapt content for email marketing, social media, digital ads, event promotions, and partner toolkits.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing and communications team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging strategy.
  • Track and report on marketing metrics, event participation, and campaign performance to inform future strategy and planning.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting for marketing and events activity in the US.

Requirements

  • A marketing or relevant business degree, and/or professional marketing qualification.
  • 2+ years in marketing, communications, or event management, preferably in the education, nonprofit, or mission-driven sector.
  • Experience of designing, developing, and implementing marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of running events, workshops and training, ideally with educators and young people.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data to evaluate campaign success and ROI, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to represent the Foundation externally, write clearly, and to build rapport with diverse audiences, including educators and young people.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to prioritise key tasks.
  • A good understanding of the structure of the school systems in the USA.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the USA.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the education sector or with youth-focused organizations.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working with international teams and global brand guidelines.

Qualifications
