About the Role

The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the Global Brand, Customer Insights, Experiential/Events, Integrated Campaigns, and the Marketing Functional Excellence team at Ecolab. The role involves bringing the brand to life through key brand-building events, customer insights, experiences, and partnering across the Global Marketing and Communications organization to deliver on critical company initiatives. The position requires a proactive, self-driven, results-oriented individual who is highly organized, analytical, and demonstrates strong professional communication and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate key creative projects to support teams in driving the Ecolab brand presence.
  • Project lead for brand intranet content uploads and management of site.
  • Manage Brand ID and Widen site and user support.
  • Coordinate Grow to Win Enterprise sales programs, including meeting logistics, distribution list management, communication analytics, attendance metrics, presentation slides, trip winner administration, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate team scheduling and media support for brand, events/experiential, integrated campaigns, customer insights, and marketing functional excellence, including scheduling with internal and external stakeholders across global time zones.
  • Utilize PowerPoint and Excel to prepare presentations and track metrics regularly.
  • Coordinate and oversee relationships with external vendors and agencies.
  • Facilitate communication to keep the team connected and focused on results.
  • Handle calendar management, expense reports, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.
  • Track budgets, reconcile expenses, and prepare forecasts across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Assist in preparing internal workshops and meetings, including managing invitations, room setup, catering, and visitor experience.
  • Provide backup support to the GMC team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 years of marketing, communications, or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, including Teams and Forms.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful project management experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, invoice payments, and monthly forecasting.
  • Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities through time management and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated initiative, proactivity, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a process-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Ecolab platforms, including Workday, OnBase, Sitecore, Widen, Cvent, and MyBuy.
  • Resourcefulness and sound judgment in handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
