About the Role

The Marketing Consultant at Dick Broadcasting Company Inc. is responsible for growing advertising revenue through traditional and non-traditional media channels in the Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem market. The role involves identifying and creating solutions to help local and national businesses thrive, managing digital and radio sales, and building strong client relationships. The position requires a well-organized individual with a deep understanding of prospecting, appointment setting, and effective communication, who can work independently to maximize results.

Key Responsibilities

Manage digital sales and radio sales to meet sales targets.
Identify and create solutions to help local and national businesses thrive in the media environment.
Develop and deliver sales presentations in live settings.
Follow up on all self-generated and company-generated contacts in an organized and effective manner.
Travel to client and prospect locations to support and win accounts.
Regularly meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Prepare for and attend weekly 1:1 and sales meetings.
Collaborate effectively with clients, promotions, and on-air team.
Plan, strategize, sell, execute, and deliver results.

Requirements

Proven sales record with experience in media sales.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Technical expertise and confidence in online, mobile, social media, and computer skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and team members.
Ability to manage own time and work independently.
Willingness to travel to client and prospect locations.

Nice to Have

Experience managing digital and radio sales.
Experience with prospecting, appointment setting, and relationship development.
Presentation skills and ability to develop sales strategies.

Qualifications

Experience in media sales or related field.
