About the Role

The Marketing Consultant II role supports the Measurement & Insights team focused on third-party measurement to demonstrate the value of Ads media solutions. The position involves managing relationships with vendors and sales teams, designing and executing measurement strategies, and contributing to building audience insights and measurement solutions. The role is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid onsite schedule requiring three days in the office, and is a 3.5-month initial contract with potential extension up to 18 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate advertiser campaign goals to recommend the appropriate Ads third-party and/or first-party measurement solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day study execution with third-party vendors, including sales requests, purchase orders, vendor intake, tag/MAID coordination, survey drafting, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and providing actionable insights.
  • Maintain outcomes database to build benchmarks and learnings from completed studies.
  • Contribute to vertical and category best practices and create scalable solutions across key client types.
  • Support and own relationships with sales counterparts, making measurement recommendations to illustrate successful outcomes, expand advertising relationships, and optimize campaigns.
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on measurement offerings and opportunities through learning agendas and experimentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across multiple business functions such as planning, account management, ad operations, and product teams.
  • Identify measurement needs and gaps, vet potential third-party partners, and conduct proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Track and monitor studies against budget, ensuring costs are aligned with departmental budgets.
  • Develop and partner with marketing to create case studies and contribute to initiatives like playbooks and best practice guides.
  • Identify and maximize efficiencies in rates, process, and communication with vendors and internal teams.
  • Participate in meetings with sales, planning, internal teams, and vendors to discuss client objectives, monitor campaigns, and prepare reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of advertising technology and digital marketing measurement experience.
  • 2+ years of partnership, strategic development, and/or partner management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of efficiency or causal measurement methods such as Incremental lift, Brand lift, Geo lift, Matched Market testing, Multi-Cell testing, A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with digital media measurement methodologies including attribution models (MTA, MMM), demographic modeling, and data layering techniques.
  • Experience with research services like Kantar, Nielsen, Circana, Foursquare, Cuebiq, Dynata, Attain, Adelaide, Tvision, Samba, VideoAmp, LoopMe.
  • Proven analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strategic self-starter with hands-on research strategy and execution experience.
  • Passion for learning new skills, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency.
  • Experience with TV/Video and digital media, DOOH, programmatic ad buying is a plus.
  • Understanding of the advertising landscape across various media channels.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Salesforce, Tableau, and data clean rooms is a plus.
