About the Role

Kratos Space Team is looking for an all-around marketing communications professional with at least 3 years of experience who can deliver content that industry professionals want to read. The role supports the satellite communications group, focusing on reinventing space-to-ground networking for both commercial and defense sectors. Kratos engineers and deploys technology and systems that advance national security, emphasizing doing the right thing and achieving success for customers and partners. The position involves telling compelling stories about how customers use B2B and B2G technology solutions to solve real problems, improve business, and serve the mission. This is a key position in a growing high-tech marketing department offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Work mainly in support of the satellite communications group to create engaging content for industry professionals.
Collaborate with executives, product managers, and customers to develop compelling narratives about value and change.
Deliver content that resonates with industry audiences, including articles, user stories, white papers, newsletters, blog posts, emails, and press releases.
Build followers and engagement in the global technology market through analytical and creative content strategies.

Requirements

BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Business field of study.
Minimum of three years of applicable experience.
Exceptional writing and communications skills.
Strong research skills.
A portfolio of samples across various content types such as articles, white papers, newsletters, blog posts, emails, and press releases.
A track record of thinking outside the usual canned approaches to content.
Experience with technology topics and products.

Nice to Have

Experience with multimedia content, especially video scripts or production.
Knowledge of SEO and effective digital marketing techniques.
A talent for visual thinking and working with designers to develop meaningful infographics.
PR experience.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Business.
