About the Role

Goodwill South Florida is seeking an experienced, strategic, and creative Director of Marketing to lead marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and support the organization's mission of transforming lives through the power of work. The role involves overseeing all marketing functions, including brand strategy, advertising, creative direction, digital marketing, content strategy, and multicultural marketing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals across various divisions. The Director manages and develops a high-performing creative team, guides customer-centric storytelling, and translates insights into culturally relevant campaigns that place the customer at the center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive revenue, donations, and program participation across all business units.
  • Lead marketing planning, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Align marketing plans with organizational priorities and evolving market opportunities.
  • Oversee brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Develop and implement a customer-centric content strategy that engages diverse audiences and elevates Goodwill's mission.
  • Champion messaging and storytelling that positions the customer as the hero.
  • Lead multicultural marketing initiatives that resonate with Hispanic and other diverse communities in South Florida.
  • Conduct customer segmentation and leverage behavioral insights to inform strategy.
  • Translate customer data into relevant, actionable, and culturally appropriate creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor the in-house creative team, including designers and content creators, and oversee external partners.
  • Provide hands-on creative direction and copywriting to ensure high standards of design and storytelling.
  • Oversee production of marketing materials across print, digital, and in-store environments.
  • Direct digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, website management, and paid media campaigns.
  • Oversee print advertising, signage, and event marketing.
  • Use analytics to optimize campaigns and maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire marketing and creative staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team culture.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor campaign performance, and provide reporting to leadership.
  • Use data to demonstrate marketing impact and guide continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing leadership, with a proven track record of innovative idea execution.
  • Strong expertise in brand storytelling and developing compelling narratives.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, combined with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Proven track record of driving significant business growth.
  • Experience in developing and managing KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
  • Creative problem solver who elevates brand storytelling.
  • Collaborative leader and team developer.
  • Analytical mindset focused on customer insight and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, scrappy environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multicultural marketing, especially with Hispanic communities.
  • Knowledge of social media management, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working in consulting or agency settings.

  • Competitive salary range of $79,400 - $96,100 per year.
