Marketing Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and online visibility
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
• Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, maintaining the high-end image of William Means
• Oversee creative direction for all marketing materials, including listing presentations, brochures, signage and digital assets
• Manage and optimize the company website charlestonrealestate.com
• Drive social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Develop custom marketing plans for luxury property listings, including photography, videography, print materials and targeted advertising
• Support agents with personal branding, promotional strategies and marketing tools
• Lead PR efforts, including media relations and press releases
• Coordinate community events, sponsorships and agent initiatives
• Manage internal marketing staff and external vendors, including photographers, printers and digital agencies
• Oversee marketing budget and ensure efficient use of resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
• 5-7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in real estate, luxury branding or related industry preferred
• Strong project management, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-volume work environment
• Creative mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail; ability to write creative copy, edit and proofread for grammar and content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, social media and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of eblast systems, photo editing and website management
• Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, social media management tools, CRM systems etc.)
• Knowledge of Charleston and the surrounding area is a must
• Ability to commute to Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

• Experience in real estate administrative work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years (required)
• Real estate administrative: 2 years (preferred)
