Marketing Director - Bridge Street

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and budget to increase center sales and traffic.
• Create and manage sponsorship and media income opportunities to make Tanger a preferred shopping destination.
• Cultivate strong relationships with retailers, vendors, community leaders, and city organizations to support marketing and business development efforts.
• Monitor and adjust marketing budgets, complete monthly financial forecasts, and manage revenue and expenses in real time.
• Create and implement national and local marketing programs that drive traffic, sales, and positive publicity for the center.
• Manage local sales processes, establish pipelines, refine sales targets, and cultivate relationships with brand-appropriate partners.
• Develop targeted advertising and media plans in collaboration with marketing teams and media agencies.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, media alerts, and maintain media contact lists.
• Support retailers with marketing and advertising solutions, host quarterly retailer meetings, and communicate via newsletters.
• Develop and execute local tourism strategies, including partnerships with hotels, resorts, and tourist destinations.
• Participate in festivals, conventions, trade shows, and community events to promote the center.
• Build relationships with civic leaders and participate in city organizations to increase awareness and community engagement.
• Provide field support to Tanger corporate departments such as Marketing, Leasing, and Accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of experience in marketing, sales, public relations, hospitality, or related fields.
• Management and supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capacity.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and ability to quickly learn Tanger systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5%, including via commercial airlines, and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to use independent judgment, critical thinking, and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in retail or commercial real estate is a plus.
