Marketing Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and develop the team in the Petrochemicals segment.
• Create a strategy for the market segment globally to identify growth markets and opportunities; work with the team and regions to implement plans for products and programs to deliver growth.
• Gather voice of customer feedback for innovation ideas to add new opportunities to the pipeline, review and drive the existing innovation portfolio, and execute the launch of new innovations as the project leader.
• Work with regions to execute newly launched innovations and understand regional market needs.
• Manage the performance of the existing offering portfolio, raw material strategies, productivity enhancements, and supply chain assurance.
• Ensure accurate representation of Ecolab regarding product-specific regulations and information.
• Collaborate with PLM to determine and execute solutions for product-related issues such as forecasting sales, resolving supply issues, and managing product life cycle.
• Develop and execute case studies and promotional activities, including trade shows, sales activation, and external marketing campaigns.
• Leverage cross-functional groups to align customer needs with existing and future technology capabilities.
• Track and report on key application performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Engage in industry associations and external networks to establish thought leadership and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; executive presentation experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a global matrixed organization and provide team leadership.
• Solid business acumen and strong financial understanding.
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and holistic thinking.
• Attention to detail and ownership mentality.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and coordinate projects across different functional groups regionally.

Nice to Have

• MBA, international business or marketing preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in STEM.
• Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
• Global mindset and international experience.
• Experience with a wide range of marketing tools, including strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities.
