The Senior Managing Director of Integrated Marketing and Creative will play a key role in shaping the organization's go-to-market strategy, leading brand experiences, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals to promote action, awareness, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary deputy to the Head of Marketing, contributing to the design and execution of the Division's overall go-to-market strategy in support of private fundraising growth.
  • Sit on the Marketing & Growth extended leadership team, actively shaping Divisional priorities and aligning cross-functional strategies to deliver integrated, audience-first campaigns and supporter journeys.
  • Accountable for the strategic vision, integration, and results of Cause Brand & Integrated Campaigns, Content Strategy & Governance, and Creative functions.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to bring brand and campaign strategies to life through compelling creative.
  • Champion marketing innovation by identifying emerging channels, technologies, creative formats, and engagement models.
  • Ensure strategies are grounded in audience insights, brand research, and performance data, working with the Research & Insights team.
  • Serve as a consultant and key decision maker on the Global Brand steering committee to activate brand and content at scale internationally.
  • Train, develop, coach, lead, and supervise staff and their teams, clearly communicating priorities and how their work supports the mission.
  • Develop and manage operating procedures across departments to ensure strategies and outputs are aligned with fundraising goals.
  • Represent the Marketing function in senior-level internal and external forums, including leadership meetings and partner engagements.
  • Oversee budgets for brand, cause marketing, content, and creative, including leveraging pro bono resources.
  • Set and track KPIs for awareness, engagement, and revenue impact, ensuring cross-team accountability.
  • Monitor campaign, content, and creative performance to drive continuous improvement and scale best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 13 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Brand Strategy or Integrated Campaign.
  • Strong relationship-building qualities and team player mindset.
  • Proven success in leading brand marketing efforts and achieving results.
  • Ability to train, develop, motivate, manage, and nurture talent.
  • Independent problem-solver and decision-maker.
  • Organizational skills with proven attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite and spoken and written English.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with individuals and teams at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 13 years of relevant experience in marketing or brand strategy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and English language skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across organizational levels.
