About the Role

Doeren Mayhew, a top 50 CPA and advisory firm, is looking for a qualified intern to join its national marketing team in the firm's Troy, Michigan headquarters. This is a paid internship opportunity. This energetic, self-starter will provide a broad range of assistance in the planning and implementation of the firm's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials
Provide author assistance on internal and external communications
Support event promotion and coordination
Perform administrative functions for department
Complete ad-hoc projects, as needed

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or related field
Current cumulative GPA is 3.4 or higher
Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
Demonstrates drive and motivation to succeed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess creativity, flexibility and growth potential
General knowledge of social media sites and content management systems
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is a plus
