About the Role

IXL Learning, the country's largest EdTech company, develops personalized learning products used by millions of learners globally. Rosetta Stone has been a leading language learning program for 30 years, and this role involves defining the future of the Rosetta Stone brand through innovative, multi-channel marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention both domestically and internationally. The Marketing Director will oversee marketing efforts across various channels and lead both consumer and enterprise marketing initiatives, working closely with executive leadership to maintain Rosetta Stone's market leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leadership and marketing leaders to develop marketing strategies to achieve customer acquisition goals and secure Rosetta Stone's market leadership.
  • Refine and build out Rosetta Stone's brand narrative and positioning to appeal to a broad range of consumers.
  • Oversee the integration of marketing efforts across channels, ensuring consistency throughout customer touchpoints including brand advertising, digital marketing, product marketing, email marketing, social media, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, public relations, SEO, and more.
  • Own the pricing and promotion strategy, ensuring cohesion across marketing channels and continually testing and optimizing these strategies.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product and feature launches, coordinating external and internal communications.
  • Devise and implement localized marketing strategies for international markets to grow the global customer base.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of marketing generalists and email marketers, with opportunities to expand the team.
  • Lead B2B marketing efforts for Rosetta Stone for Enterprise, focusing on product messaging, lead generation, and lead nurturing strategies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 12+ years of consumer brand marketing and/or integrated marketing experience, including leading overarching marketing strategies.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including managing other managers.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop short- and long-term plans.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and hold team members to high standards.

Nice to Have

  • B2B or enterprise marketing experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 plus benefits.
  • Work from home options, with a schedule of Monday-Friday in the office and one day remote per week.
