We're seeking a skilled and versatile Email Developer - Marketing Specialist with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to help build personalized, data-driven customer journeys across platforms. As a Marketing Cloud Email Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying dynamic email campaigns and personalized experiences using both SFMC and AJO. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy responsive, accessible, and dynamic email templates using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS within SFMC
Build and manage real-time, personalized customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to email marketing best practices
Troubleshoot rendering issues across email clients and devices
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, estimate work, and deliver proof-of-concept solutions
Participate in QA and testing processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
Stay current with platform updates and continuously expand your knowledge through certifications, training, and hands-on experience

Requirements

4+ years of experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns
4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a willingness to learn additional platforms as required by the role
3+ years of experience analyzing marketing performance and developing scalable processes
Proven solid understanding of email best practices including responsive design, accessibility in email, and deliverability
4+ years of practical experience with Journey Builder, HTML, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, or similar scripting languages
Ability to explain how email code is structured and provide examples of work previously completed
Proven willingness to collaborate across teams effectively, manage scope, and deliver value-driven solutions
Proven track record of success on complex and/or large-scale consulting or implementation projects

Nice to Have

Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud tools
Knowledge of software testing and scope management
Experience with marketing analytics and campaign management
Familiarity with back-end development, scripting, and scalability
