About the Role

The Marketing Engagement Consultant supports marketing communications initiatives to enhance brand visibility for the OhioHealth Foundation and External Affairs. The role involves managing digital content, providing strategic support for fundraising and community engagement events, and overseeing the development of marketing materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to digital marketing campaigns by creating and designing marketing assets for digital channels such as websites, blogs, social media, and email to expand donor and community engagement opportunities.
  • Support analysis of performance metrics to optimize audience targeting and content development.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and asset development.
  • Provide communications support for events and special projects, maintaining an annual calendar of events aligned with philanthropic priorities.
  • Explore and implement efficiencies and reporting enhancements in database platforms and CRM for constituent tracking, event fundraising, and corporate giving.
  • Ensure marketing and event tactics, collateral, and digital content are delivered on-time, on-budget, and meet desired outcomes using project management tools.
  • Communicate project status to team and leadership, ensuring quality and accuracy from concept to completion.
  • Support projects and initiatives that enhance external reputation and philanthropic efforts in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting marketing communication strategies.
  • Proven experience in marketing asset coordination, digital marketing, and event project management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with graphic design using Adobe creative tools.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Workfront.
  • Experience with CRM platforms for email marketing and marketing automation (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce, Blackbaud Luminate Online, Eloqua).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop dynamic content for digital communications and online fundraising channels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Flexible, organized, energetic, and computer proficient.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict timelines and budgets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with a Foundation or nonprofit organization.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
