About the Role

The Marketing Generalist Intern role at IDEX Fire & Safety offers a dynamic and flexible 3 to 6 month remote internship opportunity designed for driven and enthusiastic individuals eager to deepen their experience in marketing, content creation, and strategic communication. Interns will collaborate with the North American Marketing & Communications team and other members of IDEX Fire & Safety to gain valuable professional experience and shape their career paths within a diverse organization that operates across multiple business segments globally.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and organizing content marketing assets and libraries
Assisting with social media reporting and generating insights
Supporting digital ad campaigns through management and reporting
Conducting SEO research to improve online visibility
Playing a role in project management and task coordination
Assisting with research and analysis of marketing trends and opportunities
Contributing to Salesforce database updates and organization support
Participating in the creation, editing, and management of training and marketing content, including videos and other media
Actively contributing during team meetings and discussions

Requirements

High School Diploma required; ideally pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
Must reside in the United States
A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute across multiple marketing functions
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently
Demonstrated reliability and accountability in meeting deadlines
A collaborative spirit combined with a positive attitude and humility

Nice to Have

Familiarity with digital tools like social media platforms, project management software, and CRM systems

Qualifications

High School Diploma (required)
Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (preferred)
