Marketing Insights and Analytics Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in data modeling, transformation, cleansing, and creating data logic and queries.
• Provide actionable insights by analyzing marketing data from multiple channels, including social media, email, web, and paid media, to support planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns.
• Develop financial metrics such as ROI and profitability to evaluate the financial success of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, business teams, data architects, and data engineers to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational goals.
• Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning models to forecast trends, optimize marketing strategies, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Work with Finance and Governance teams to build and measure financial metrics across marketing initiatives and prepare executive reports on campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all data handling and analysis activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and marketing teams to understand data requirements and deliver impactful insights aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, data analytics, information systems, statistics or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing/data analysis/financial analysis, especially related to banking or retail bank products.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis, with the ability to gather, analyze, and provide data insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient knowledge of databases, SQL, and MS Office applications.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems such as MySQL and Oracle.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with marketing platform analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data analysis tools like Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics.
• Knowledge of marketing platform analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, data analytics, information systems, or statistics
• Master's degree is preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in marketing/data analysis/financial analysis, especially in banking or retail banking
