About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver marketing responsibilities for the Adhesive and Caulk/Sealant segments within Polymers Americas region.
• Align long-term strategic objectives across market teams and achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Define and execute regional business strategies that link to global market strategies.
• Manage to key financial profitability metrics and position the portfolio for profitable top-line growth.
• Support project or process implementation related to marketing initiatives.
• Establish effective working relationships with representatives across the broader WACKER organization.
• Anticipate, understand, and manage the impact of changes in the competitive environment, new technology, and downstream markets.
• Implement global project and process initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Chemistry or Engineering; Master's degree is desirable.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing management or a role supporting these functions.
• Broad business background in sales, marketing, technology, commercial development, and supply chain functions.
• Experience operating in a highly matrixed global organization, preferably in specialty chemical markets.
• Managing or heavily interfacing with sales and technology organizations focused on product development, application development, technical service, and market optimization.
• Leadership and influence skills, especially across a matrixed organization.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented with a willingness to accept personal responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to define strategic direction and translate it into actionable objectives for cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Nice to Have

• Experience in specialty chemical markets.
• Experience in a global organization with matrix management.

Qualifications
