About the Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing initiatives that enhance the company's visibility and competitiveness. This individual will be the central hub for brand management and content development—leveraging industry knowledge and AI-powered tools to drive efficiency, consistency, and high-quality deliverables. This role works closely with operational leaders, business development, and communications teams and requires a strong understanding of construction marketing in the heavy civil and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a streamlined, organized marketing process that allows for rapid and consistent responses to branding needs.
  • Lead the creation of qualifications packages, RFP/RFQ responses, and interview presentations using both traditional and AI-assisted tools (e.g., content generators, formatting software, predictive analytics).
  • Use AI-powered research tools to identify target markets, upcoming opportunities, and competitive insights to support pursuit strategies.
  • Maintain brand standards and visual consistency across marketing collateral, leveraging AI-based design platforms (such as Canva AI, Adobe Illustrator, or similar).
  • Support the Business Development team with strategic messaging and polished presentations tailored to specific prospects and clients.
  • Track opportunities in the CRM system; use AI-enhanced data analytics to help forecast trends, inform decision-making, and improve win rates.
  • Manage marketing calendars, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage external marketing needs (website updates, social media content, newsletters), incorporating AI-driven content creation where appropriate.
  • Organize participation in trade shows, community events, and client functions such as groundbreakings and open houses.
  • Support internal communication campaigns and company culture initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, marketing tools, and AI applications that can enhance communication, branding, and project strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators and develop AI-supported reports on marketing effectiveness, win/loss metrics, and client engagement.
  • Perform other related duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry).
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical content into compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using AI tools for content generation, visual design, CRM analytics, or data reporting preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proposal management software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across departments.
  • Understanding of the heavy civil and commercial building industry is a plus.
