About the Role

Navitas has been a respected leader in global higher education since 1994, pioneering in the university pathway sector with trusted partnerships across multiple countries. The company provides resources and expertise to support large-scale initiatives that benefit students, faculty, staff, and local communities. Navitas is seeking to employ a Marketing Manager to join the North American team in New York, supporting the partnership with Queens College Global Student Success Program. The role involves executing marketing strategies to grow student enrollments, developing marketing materials, managing agents, attending recruitment events, and implementing inquiry conversion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input into the development of annual marketing plans, recruitment targets, and budget.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate lead generation, conversion, and referral campaigns.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate student marketing and recruitment strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities, including joint activities with the university partner.
  • Achieve student recruitment targets and report on performance against key initiatives and enrollment targets.
  • Provide ongoing training with the divisional offshore teams, university partner, and internal staff on products, admission, and visa requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of the value proposition that differentiates the Business Unit in target markets.
  • Conduct market and competitor research including employment and vocational trends.
  • Contribute to product portfolio development and ongoing evaluation and refresh in line with market demand.
  • Adhere to the Navitas and university partner style guide in marketing material.
  • Travel overseas to participate in marketing and recruitment events as required.
  • Manage relationships with agents, university partners, and Navitas stakeholders.
  • Develop marketing content including social media marketing and communications.
  • Develop BU-specific digital content and online web strategy toolkit.
  • Develop and lead offer-acceptor campaigns.
  • Manage web page quality control and content management of BU sites to ensure content consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and obtain university approvals for all marketing material.
  • Source and collaborate with external agencies to optimize campaign performance, brand awareness, and ROI.
  • Develop and manage targeted domestic marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct campaign analysis using internal systems to identify trends and optimize student acquisition activities.
  • Maintain presence across relevant social media channels according to strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (marketing preferred).
  • Experience in marketing.
  • Proven track record of strong sales performance.
  • High-level numeric literacy and critical thinking.
  • High level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in Business level English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven ability as a team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking.
  • Ability to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
  • Flexible attitude to work including willingness to work weekends and evenings.
  • Valid passport and willingness and ability to travel overseas.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in higher education sector, preferably international, pathway programs, and government policy affecting international students.
  • Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the success of activities and report appropriately.
  • Proven ability to work successfully with education agents.
  • Experience of working effectively within a matrix structure to meet demands.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing.
