About the Role

The Marketing Mix Modeling Analyst will oversee the development and implementation of marketing mix models to assess the impact of various marketing channels on sales and brand performance. The role involves analyzing large datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting findings, monitoring campaign performance, and supporting strategic planning through data-driven insights. This position requires a strong understanding of data science, analytics, and marketing principles, with a focus on marketing mix modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing mix models to assess the impact of marketing channels on sales and brand performance.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media, marketing, and sales, to gather data and understand business objectives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and data science.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and budget allocation.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and tools for ongoing performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Experience with data analytics for at least 2 years.
  • Experience with marketing mix modeling for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of data visualization for at least 3 years.
  • Proficiency with R, Python, and SAS for at least 2 years.
  • Understanding of data modeling, business applications, and how data works.
  • Experience in building models and conducting scenario analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in client/customer-facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of data science analytics and marketing principles, with 5 years of marketing experience preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing principles (5 years preferred).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (3 years preferred).

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in data analytics.
  • 2 years of experience in marketing mix modeling.
  • 2 years of experience with R, Python, and SAS.
