Marketing Operations Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate security reviews to ensure they meet established security and compliance standards for contracts with new and existing vendors.
• Collaborate directly with vendors to create and finalize insertion orders for advertising campaigns, media buys, and other marketing services, ensuring all terms, conditions, deliverables, and pricing are accurately reflected.
• Generate purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions and insertion orders, ensuring all necessary stakeholder approvals (e.g., budget owners, legal, executive leadership) are obtained.
• Receive and process invoices within the procurement and accounting systems, ensuring they are correctly allocated to the appropriate cost accounts and budget lines.
• Resolve procurement and marketing discrepancies (PO, invoice, vendor performance), mediating solutions for billing, service, or quality issues.
• Own the cross-functional coordination process and implement improvements as needed.
• Develop best practices, document, and communicate requirements to the different teams involved in the procurement process.

Requirements

• Understanding of marketing operations and procurement processes.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and onboarding processes.
• Ability to generate and process purchase orders and invoices accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience mediating and resolving billing, service, or quality issues.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally and implement process improvements.
