Marketing Operations Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day execution and administration of Pricing, Promotions and Vouchers including thorough quality assurance and audit compliance.
• Document and maintain process SOP for the use of Commerce systems.
• Analyze, translate and use data to garner meaningful insight and sound business decisions and/or proposals.
• Work effectively as a member of a team and support during peak seasonal periods.
• Manage programs by understanding the end-to-end customer experience, from advertising to in-product and all pricing touch points, to facilitate effective quality control and troubleshooting.
• Stay connected and involved through all campaigns, price tests, and seasonal changes/updates to facilitate quick pivots if/when needed.
• Proactively identify risks and root causes, determine a course of action, then act decisively while balancing speed, agility and quality.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to consult on strategy, understand objectives, and develop better ways of reaching desired outcomes.
• Promote an ideal future state for operations by seeking and recommending automation opportunities through AI.
• Act as a key stakeholder in Commerce solutions, contributing to requirement gathering, design reviews, testing, and communication.
• Identify barriers to scale and repeatability, recommending process and system tooling improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an operational or data driven role, with demonstrated willingness to learn or expand as the role requires, marketing operations role in E-commerce, with some responsibilities over product pricing and promotions.
• General understanding of enterprise-level billing systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision, self-driven and takes initiative to problem solve.
• Experience in a highly dynamic, fast paced and high intensity environment that requires multi-tasking, flexibility and agility to adapt quickly and effectively.
• Attention to detail, process-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and oral/written communication skills across all levels.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities to translate customer requirements to technical capabilities.
• Proven experience building strong working relationships with stakeholders including engineering teams, marketers, PM and UX teams.
• Advanced knowledge in working with large data sets in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, Macros, etc.) and comfortable with large datasets in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Intermediate experience using SQL for self-service/ad-hoc reporting (data visualization experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with Jira, SFDC, CODA, Smartsheet, QuickBase, Tableau is a preferred.
• Experience working with teams spanning multiple time-zones and flexible working hours.
• Experience in leveraging AI to ideate, build and deliver process efficiency gains.
