Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational backbone of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team delivering educational campaigns to Aetna members.
  • Manage trafficking of marketing campaigns within Aetna content approvals ecosystem, supporting legal and regulatory reviews, preparing responses, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional Campaign Team implementation meetings, create timelines, track campaign progress, and negotiate blockers.
  • Review and approve highly customized test and final proofs across multiple formats and media, utilizing various campaign materials.
  • Escalate inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or errors to the Campaign Team and ensure revisions are applied.
  • Coordinate between external partners, internal teams, and reviewers on timelines, budgets, and requirements, managing vendor interactions as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring for active campaigns, maintain deliverability reports, and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Manage Pod finances and reporting dashboards.
  • Support general project management and co-develop key artifacts and processes internally.
  • Synthesize learnings from 'test & learn' marketing experiments regularly.
  • Stretch role (after 6+ months, with high performance): Own development of some 'behavior change' campaigns end-to-end, including strategy, creative development, and execution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a marketing operations role within a large corporation, working with email, direct mail, SMS, IVR/phone, paid media, or web.
  • 2+ years of general project management experience or marketing strategy/operations experience, or 1-2 years of pre-MBA consulting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free campaign delivery.
  • Ability to work autonomously, quickly learn new campaigns, and handle ambiguity.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology and/or rapid test and learn environment.
  • Experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience (high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Nice to Have

  • Professional experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with project workflow management tools such as Workfront or Smartsheet.
  • Experience with healthcare industry and improving member lives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
