Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and disseminate compelling content across various platforms to engage internal and external audiences.
  • Create content, including videos, digital emails, and ads, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Conduct interviews and extract key insights for content development.
  • Coordinate with the communications team and report to the Director of Communications and Marketing.
  • Manage and implement marketing campaigns, including planning, creation, and follow-through.
  • Utilize content management systems and social media management tools to publish and monitor content.
  • Participate in events outside typical office hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communication or related field.
  • Two to four or more years of experience in strategic internal and external communication, marketing, and content creation.
  • Valid LA Driver's License, reliable transportation, current safety inspection, liability insurance, license and registration.
  • Knowledge of video production (camera work, lighting, sound) and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience creating digital and print ads using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop.
  • Strong interviewing skills and ability to guide conversations for content development.
  • Familiarity with marketing campaign planning, email marketing platforms, and campaign management.
  • Knowledge of brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and messaging frameworks.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills across multiple content types.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout).
  • High proficiency in digital platforms including websites, intranets, mobile apps, social media, and digital displays.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
  • Physical health capable of standing, sitting, walking for long periods, and lifting at least 99 pounds.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or public-sector communications.
  • Motion graphics or animation experience.
  • Master's degree and/or professional accreditation in public relations.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in journalism, public relations, communication, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in content creation, marketing, and communication.
