As a Marketing Specialist, you will join the Direct Marketing & Operations team within PNC's Human Resources organization. You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in the coordination of basic marketing program execution under direct supervision.
  • Develops a strong understanding of existing marketing strategies and implements established programs/initiatives.
  • Assists in the coordination and execution of marketing programs/initiatives, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications.
  • Assists in data collection and synthesis to identify trends.
  • Ensures all operating activities are delivered within the established budget framework.
  • Follows established processes and protocols including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners.
  • Partners with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a marketing role.
  • Preferred skills include advertising, content marketing, digital marketing, marketing programs, strategies, negotiation, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Competencies include business acumen, data analysis, collaboration, decision making, effective communication, effectiveness measurement, marketing function, and marketing systems.
  • Typically requires a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • No specific certifications or licenses are required.
