About the Role

The Marketo Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns using Adobe Marketo Engage. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication with target audiences, leveraging marketing automation, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to drive campaign success. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and execute automated email campaigns in Marketo, including nurture streams, newsletters, event promotions, and product announcements.
Segment and manage email lists to ensure precise targeting and personalization.
Create and manage campaign assets including emails, landing pages, forms, and workflows.
Perform A/B testing and optimize campaigns for higher open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and best practices (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
Troubleshoot Marketo issues and ensure accurate syncing with CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo (Adobe Marketo Engage certification preferred).
Strong understanding of marketing automation best practices and email marketing strategy.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email design and troubleshooting.
Experience integrating Marketo with CRMs like Salesforce.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Adobe Marketo Engage certification.
