About the Role

The Analytics Program Manager - Consumer Insights at Golden 1 Credit Union is responsible for leading and managing consumer market analysis initiatives. The role involves transforming data into actionable insights that drive customer/member-centric strategies across marketing, product, and business development teams. It supports business units by providing quality campaign reporting, data models, and personas, aligning with a data-driven marketing approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for consumer insights, aligning with business goals and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and campaign performance using first-party and third-party data sources.
  • Create compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Define and develop member segmentations and personas to influence marketing and business strategies.
  • Understand members' wants and needs and their importance in choosing a financial institution and for delivering growth.
  • Design, manage, and interpret qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., surveys, segmentation, brand tracking).
  • Oversee analytics tools and external research vendors to ensure high-quality data and insights delivery.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, CX) to embed insights into decision-making processes.
  • Lead consumer/member insights strategy and develop a roadmap for insights initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer insights, marketing analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in development and execution of analytics strategies and objectives.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies, product development, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and visualization platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and market research methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of AI, modern research techniques, customer segmentation, journey mapping, and predictive modeling.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and manage complex projects independently.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of behavioral science or UX research.
  • Experience with CRM and digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
